These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Cetaware demo environment (“Demo”). By registering for or using the Demo, you (“User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Demo.
1. About Cetaware
Cetaware (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides AI‑powered tools for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on marine life activity. The Demo is a limited, evaluation‑only version of our platform intended solely to help prospective users understand the dashboard interface, reporting style, and general system capabilities.
2. Purpose of the Demo
- The Demo is provided for evaluation purposes only.
- It is not intended for operational, scientific, commercial, or decision‑making use.
- All data displayed in the Demo is deliberately delayed, simulated, anonymised, or otherwise modified and must not be treated as real‑time or authoritative.
3. Access Period
- Demo access is granted for 28 days from the date of registration.
- After 28 days, the User’s Demo account will be automatically locked.
- Users may request extended access by submitting a request through the contact form on our website.
- Extension requests must include:
- The email address originally used to register for the Demo
- A brief explanation of why additional time is required
- Cetaware may approve or deny extension requests at its sole discretion.
4. Ownership of Data
- All data, content, analytics, reports, visualisations, and system outputs displayed in the Demo (“Demo Data”) are the exclusive property of Cetaware or its licensors.
- Demo Users do not own, control, or have rights to any Demo Data.
- Users may not copy, download, export, redistribute, or use Demo Data for any purpose outside evaluating the platform.
5. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- Attempt to extract, scrape, or harvest Demo Data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to access underlying models, algorithms, or systems
- Use the Demo for commercial, scientific, or operational purposes
- Share Demo access credentials with any third party
- Interfere with or disrupt the Demo environment or its security features
Cetaware may suspend or terminate Demo access for any violation of these Terms.
6. No Warranty
The Demo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Cetaware does not guarantee uptime, performance, or availability of the Demo.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cetaware is not liable for:
- Any decisions made based on Demo Data
- Losses arising from use or inability to use the Demo
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Users assume all risk associated with accessing and evaluating the Demo.
8. Privacy
Use of the Demo is subject to Cetaware’s Privacy Policy. By registering, Users consent to the processing of their information for the purpose of providing and managing Demo access.
9. Modifications
Cetaware may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Demo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
